Radiation Therapist
Duties and Responsibilities: Radiation therapist
assists radiologists and oncologists in treating diseases by exposing areas of patient’s
bodies to ionizing radiation. They are also responsible for maintaining the
radiation therapy equipment and helping to maintain patient records.
Salary: $22,000-$36,000
Education: You either need a one or two year
program in order to start training. One year programs are required for hospitals.
You also need to have graduated from an approved program in radiologic
technology. A high school diploma or a GED is required to enter two year
courses.
Reflection: I would not like to be a Radiation Therapist because it is not very
interesting for me and I am not really looking
