I think what the statement is trying to say is that kind words are easy to say but if you don't mean them then they are useless and if you do use them correct then the possibilities are endless. People now a days should use nice words because that may help people be successful in a way. Kind words and their meanings are stronger than you can imagine. For example if yo use a nice and kind word to someone then the meaning of the word will mean everything for them and help them be more successful in life. Kind words can be used to make it out a hard situation. 

Occupational Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities:    Occupational Therapists help patients who are mentally, emotionally, or physically disabled adjust to handicaps and regain abilities to perform daily living and self-care skills.  They work as part of a team with physicians, counselors, and physical therapists.

Salary: $26,000 - $45,000

Education:  All states require either a bachelor's or master's degree, also a clinical experience and successful completion of a national examination.

Reflection: I would not like to be an occupational therapist because it is not a career that interests me and that’s not would I would like to do.

i very much agree with this statement because only yourself can predict your future if you end up creating it. Your future becomes what you make it. When you create a goal yo get the sense of how good your future is going to be. I created some goals to get me through life not only to be successful but to also be satisfied. You create what you want in life in order to get what you want in the future. For example lets say i create a goal to make it to the NBA, and if i try hard enough then i will achieve it and that will be the future i will live in. 

Nursing Home Administrator

Research, look for, and provide the following:

Duties and Responsibilities: Nursing Home Administrators plan and direct operations of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.  They supervise personnel, financial, medical, and nursing administration.

Salary:  $40,000-$55,000

Education:   Most states require nursing home administrators to have at least a bachelor's degree in nursing home administration, complete an additional internship program, and pass a comprehensive examination.

Reflection:  I would not be a nursing home administrator because I am not very interested in the nursing position in the medical field and I would not like to stay in one place, I would like to travel when I work. 

Friday Agenda

The assembly this morning was a very humorous, goofy assembly but at the same time it was teaching us something. I find it really cool how the teachers were participating in this assembly to not only have fun but to teach students the school rules and regulations. This was basically reminding us about the rules of the school. It was informing us the consequences and the positive aspects of following the rules. I thought it was cool how they made something serious into something funny as well.  I will now obey the rules better and try to make the school a more fun place.

I Strongly agree with this quote because it is very true and actions will get you places. Actions are the basic key to success. If you reallyu want something then you have to put some action in your life to achieve it. If you dont take any action then you will not be successful. The only way to accomplish a dream is to take action. For example lets say you have always dram of being a NBA basketball player. You are not going to make it by just sitting down you need to take some action and then you will succeed.

Reflection: I would not like to be in this criteria because it is not that interesting to me and it does not look like it pays good.

I think i kind of know what this means. Vision without action is a daydream, can mean that you dream of something and  you probably wont do it then you are just stuck n life. When you daydream is when you look stuck and don't do anything but wonder off. That can happen when you have a successful vision but you dont accomplish it. When their is an action without vision is a nightmare then that means that you act or do something without seeing the positives or the negatives and your life will be a nightmare. For example if i did something reckless without thinking then my life will be a nightmare because i have to face the consequences. 

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Research, look for, and provide the following

Duties and Responsibilities:    Nuclear Medicine Technologists prepare and administer radioactive substances to detect and treat disease.  They then position equipment over patients to make images.  These pictures allow physicians to identify abnormal areas.  This helps in diagnosing illness.

Nuclear medicine technologists explain these tests to the patients and administer radioactive doses by mouth or injection.  They also perform laboratory tests on tissue sample

Salary:  $28,000-42,000

Education: You need an Associate and bachelor degrees are offered in colleges and universities.  Courses include training in safety, radiation procedures, physical science, effects of radiation to the body and organs, and computer techniques.  Almost all states require licensing, and all technologists must meet federal standards for administering and using of radioactive materials

Reflection: I would not like to be this because it doesn’t really seem interested and radioactive things can be bad for you.

Glenn Cunningham was born on August 4,1909 in The state of Kansas. When he was 8 years old he was in school and a accident at school caused him to injure his legs very badly and his brother kenny died at 13years old. His legs were so bad that the doctors wanted to cut off his legs. His parents did not allow it. The doctors had said he was never going to walk again. With therapy he was taking it helped him learn to walk again and run a bit. He competed in the 1932 Olympics and the 1936 Olympics. Cunningham won the Sullivan medal in 1933 and he got a silver medal in the summer Olympics. In 1936 he set the world record at the 800m run. He is a very inspirational athlete.

Not everybody gets the same effect of adversity, some people might get it the negative way. Others can get it the positive way. You can either choose the way to break records or history by the adversity. You can be the one that let it break you but im pretty sure you want to be the one that conquers it. For example lets say you let the adversity of school work get in your way then you'll fail and will let it brake you. If you wanna break records and be successful then you will break adversity and become someone great. 

Monitor Surveillance Technician

Education: After graduation from high school they should enroll in training programs at vocational schools, community colleges, or hospitals.  Program length varies from three months to two years.

Reflection: I would like to be this because it seems like an interesting job and it doesn’t need a lot of school to become one.

Duties and Responsibilities: Gather and report heart pattern information on patients.

Operate monitoring computers that simultaneously display multiple patient results.

Identify heart pattern changes and abnormalities.       

Clean and maintain equipment, battery packs, and wiring systems.

Salary: $26,000-41,000

I do agree with this quote and it is really reasonable. If you really want to be an inspiration you have to outdo yourself and nobody else. That is pretty much the only way to be inspirational. If you try to outdo anybody else then your most likely not succeed and be successful. They key to be inspirational is to outdo yourself. Because at the end its only going to be you and not anybody else's. For example you have to put the pressure on yourself and try hard and then you will be better and inspirational like Michael Jordan. 

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities: Health Sciences Librarians and Library Technicians collect and organize medical information and help practitioners find the information they need for patient care, education, research, and administration.

Salary: $20,000-$55,000

Education:  Health Science Librarians need an undergraduate degree in life sciences and must earn a master's degree in library science from a program that is accredited by the American Library Association.  Some library science graduate programs offer specialized courses in health science librarianship.

Reflection: I would like to be a health science librarian because it sounds like an interesting career and it pays pretty well.
