"Attitude is the mind's paintbrush.
it can color any situation."
Anonymous

I think i do know what this quote is saying. With your attitude you are trying to paint something in life. Your attitude can color any situation you are in to be successful. You have to imagine your attitude as a paintbrush. It can paint either a dark picture of a joyful one. But in any situation you are in then it will help you color it. For example if you are in a basketball game and you loose the game you will have to have a good attitude in order to paint a nice portrait.

"He who walks with the wise grows wise
but a companion of fools suffers harm".
A Proverb

I really do agree with this quote because its a really good one and ive witnessed it before. Just cause somebody does something doesnt mean you have to do it. A lot of people do the same things there peers do. So when your in a group of friends that does not d ogood things then most likely you'll do bad things as well. If you hang out with the wise and the people who ctr the nyou will grow rise and successful. But when you walk with fools then you will suffer harm. For example if your group of friends do not do their homework and fail, then most likely you will do the same as well.

"You cant hire someone else
to do your push- ups for you."
Jim Rohn

I think this quote by John Rohn means you cant let someone to do all the hard work for you in order to become a success in life. If you want to do something it has to come from you. Once you do it for yourself then the greatness is all for you. You cant let someone do things for you becaus ethen you'll be nothing in life. For example you can let someone do your homework for you but then you will loose the knowledge. You cant hire someone to make a positive impact on yourself it has to be you in order to do that.

Summary: The story was about Abraham Lincoln and how he mad e a ver ylong living promise. When his mother was sick he had promised her he would never drink whiskey or smoke cigarettes as long as he lives. And since that day he promised he had never smoked nor drank. One day he goes on a trip with a man and the man offers him a drink and to smoke. He refused and still kept his promise. I think by keeping this promise it made him a better person and stronger. I think it relates to me because ive made promises with people befiore that have been important and i havent broke as well.

I really agree with this quote by Joseph Wirthlin. Kindness is the most important aspect of greatness. I believ it is a stepping stone to achieving success. Greatness cannot be if you do not have or believe in kindness. Kindness is everything. Without greatnes then you will have failure and not greatnwess. "Visualization-Imagination: What
You see is what you get"
Anonymous

I really like this quote and i can really relate to it. I really agree with the part as what you see is what you get. If you look at yourself in the mirror as a failure then that is what you are going to get. But, if you look at yourself as a graduating student then that is what you are going to get. Imagination is what helps you get the confidence you need. For example sometimes i look in the mirror and visualize a future NBA star or an artist.

"Manners maketh man."
William of Wykeham

The statement by William is a very short and straight out statement that sends out one important message. The quote is think its saying is that manners make up a man. The message is if you have manners than that will make you a real man. I really like this quote because it is a very straight forward quote that is true. Muscles or the way you act does not make you a man, rather the manners you have do. For example lets say there is a man with strength and another weak man with manners. The one that will be considered a man is the one with manners because that's way better than strength. I really like this quote.
