Genetic Counselor
Research and provide the following about the Genetic Counselor
Duties and Responsibilities: Genetic Counselors work with patients and families who have genetic, or inherited, disorders and birth defects.  They also counsel people who are at risk for these problems.
Salary: $25,000-$55,000
Education: We should take challenging high school curriculum that is especially on science and mathematics.
          Students interested in becoming genetic counselors should take a challenging high school curriculum that emphasizes science and mathematics.
A master's degree is required, and most graduate programs require a strong undergraduate background in biology, chemistry, and behavioral science. In many states they require genetic counselors to be certified.

Do you think you would like to be a Genetic Counselor? Why? Why not?

I would like to be a Genetic counselor because it sounds interesting. I would also like to help people out that have a chance of inheriting a serious disease. It also gets paid really good, so I would like to be a Generic Counselor.
