Duties and Responsibilities: Enables patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition; providing support and personal services; teaching families.

Salary:  $25,000-$35,000

Education: There are no formal education requirements for home health care aides. Home health aides working in certified home health or hospice agencies must get formal training and pass a standardized test.

I would not like to be a home health aide because I don’t really like to look after people. Its kind of babysitting and I don’t like that. It’s a lot of responsibility and you have someone’s life in your hands.
